SVMCM Scholarship: This scholarship is mainly for meritorious students belonging to economically family in the state of west Bengal to pursue higher studies. This scheme is introduced by Government of West Bengal. They are giving many scholarships for students to continue their studies to higher level. The Swami Vivekanand Merit Cum Means Scholarship Scheme restarted in 2016 to cover up many students and enhance the scholarship amount.
SVMCM Scholarship 2025
Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship (SVMCM Scholarship) is the largest government scholarship of the state of West Bengal, known as Vikash Bhavan Scholarship.
Students should pass in the year 2024, 2023 or 2022 or 2021 or 2020 are unable to get admission in the year 2023 or 2022, or 2021 or 2020 due to unavoidable reason , if they get admission in the year of advertisement.

Eligibility Criteria
Residential Status: Must be a resident of West Bengal.
Academic Performance:
- Higher Secondary: Minimum 60% marks in the Madhyamik examination.
- Undergraduate: Minimum 60% in Higher Secondary for general and technical courses.
- Postgraduate: At least 53% marks in graduation for general courses; 55% for technical courses.
Family Income: Annual family income should not exceed ₹2.5 lakh.
Benefit of Scholarship–
There are many benefits in this scholarship like, Students who are studying in regular mode of class 11th or 12th and at under Graduate Level in Science /Arts / Commerce, Engineering, Medical and Technical / Professional Course. Post Graduate level students pursuing Science/ Arts / Commerce & Technical / Management. It is only based upon merit list.
