Canara Bank Scholarship 2025 –  Canara bank is a Public Sector Bank. It is based in Bangalore , India  and founded by Shri Ammembal Subba Rao Pai, a great visionary and Philanthropist, in July 1906 at Mangalore. The Bank has gone through the various phases of own growth over 100 years of its existence.

Canara Bank is associated with Public Financial Management System to create a unique scholarship disbursal system. This Bank is launch scholarships by UGC with the main intention of encouraging students and nurturing their talent, bright future etc.

Canara Bank Scholarship – 

The main motive of Canara Bank Scholarship is a financial program that helps students pursue higher education and support students who are facing financial difficulties about their studies.

Eligibility Criteria –

• Should be pursuing an undergraduate , postgraduate , professional or research degree course
• Be a permanent citizen of India
• Family income below a certain limit
• submit all required documents
• This Scholarship eligible courses are PHD, professional courses in various fields.
• Some scholarship may have a maximum age limit, and applicants should take note of the criteria.

How to fill Canara Bank Scholarship form 2025

The revised page of scholar’s corner has been released for the UGC Scholarship being disbursed through CANRA BANKUGC portal. Steps to follow to apply are mentioned below;

1. Firstly scholar student may visit the official website.
2. Click on Registration button, enter your correct details as per required.
3. Follow schemes ; PGNF/SC/ST, NFT JRF etc.
4. Fill student ID( the Student ID as registered with the university under UGC portal. If you don’t know exact Student ID, may use the FIND STUDENT ID option to find the correct ID .
5. Enter your Date of Birth.
6. After entering all the given data, click registration button and save the data. The message will be receive on your registration number.
7. The password will be sent to the registered mail and id. Check the registered Email ID for the password.
8. Go to official page enter the email address and the password that has been received  in the mail and LOGIN.
9. The password change option will appear.
10. Enter the new password.  Criteria for new password
11. Should have minimum 8 characters
12. Should have minimum 1 upper case character
13. Should have minimum 1 lower case character
14. Should have minimum 1 number
15. After setting the new password , LOGIN again with the email and fill new password to view the scholar profile.

Facilities in the Scholar’s corner –

On logging in , you will be directed to the home page where the following details will be shown –

• Name of the scholar
• Student ID
• Account/ IFSC code
• Beneficiary code
• Paid details

The total payment schedule for the scholar is available under tab PAYMENT SCHEDULE . The status of each payment is also mentioned.

Another side of scholarship gets disbursed through the CANRA BANK UGC portal means that the amount of the scholarship will be transferred to student’s Bank Account directly. The Scholarship amount is concerned , it spans from 5000 per month to 1 lakh or more to more and basically it depends upon your current scheme.
